Bronies for Chaos - What we know about Las Pegasus Unicon (by BroniesForChaos)

For folks unaware of the biggest brony disaster that occurred last weekend, the scam that was Las Vegas Unicon, here’s a very in-depth look at what went down in Vegas.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the pinacle of embarrassing. Not even Derpygate and Alicorn Twilight combined could amount to the colossal amount of failures this event showed. Many were so caught up in the excitement of another chance to gather in such a large scale, they all failed to realize the dark secret Unicon was hiding. And because they failed to see the red flags, thousands of dollars were lost, not only for artists and musicians, but charities and show staff. At least with the first two big dramas, there was only emotional pain. This one was not only emotional, but financial pain as well. That is unforgivable. Let this be a reminder to do your homework before you make a big deal about something.

As for you Sandi. Wherever you are, I strongly suggest you come out of hiding and own up to your incompetence and greed. You hurt hundreds of good people and have caused serious damage to a fandom who’s reputation is hanging by a thread as it is. Shame on you and your husband for thinking you could take advantage of the generosity and excitement of these young men and women and get away with it. Admit your failures and you may see mercy. Otherwise you better expect an army of lawyers to come knocking at your door.

People are in a panic about Derpy Hooves not making any appearances this season. I would just like to point out the section on the bottom right. She’s not out of the show yet. They clearly still have her model on hand, ready to add to the background at any time they feel is right. I like to think she’s earning a break this season, given there’s so much going on in the foreground. And besides, all the merchandise tied to her is practically impossible for Hasbro and their licensees to give up on. She’s a gold mine, it’d be a dumb business move if they flat out removed her. So please, calm down, okay? A little Derpy is better than having no Derpy. We might as well respect that. :)

Daniel Ingram is a composer I admire so much, for taking those old notions of songs in girl’s shows and throwing out the window for FiM. Smile Smile Smile is a prime example of a song that does its job so well, you can’t help but give even the tiniest grin on your face. And not only has it inspired people to smile again, it has actually lifted some people out of depression. This song is a powerhouse, and the number of covers knows no bounds. People have replicated the melodies on other instruments, given it new voices and even taken it to the stage. Many of them praised by Daniel himself. This song has reminded me that even when the dark side of the fanbase rears its ugly head, there are still others out there waiting for you to make them happy with what you do. Those are the kind people that keep me going as a member of this fanbase. I made a promise to myself that I would learn from the MLP art style until I am able to find my own, and until that day comes, I will fight on. As hopeless as it may seem to some people, I don’t care. I’m here to make people happy, and that’s just what I’m going to do to the very end.
